Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 5+ years of experience in IT leadership, accountability, and strategic planning across IT management functions.
• We bring 5+ years of experience in IT workforce assessment, strategy development, and talent planning.
• We bring 5+ years of experience in IT budgeting and investment management for multi-year IT planning.
• We bring 5+ years of experience in Information Security and Privacy, including establishing agency-wide security programs.
• We bring 5+ years of experience driving Digital Equity and Accessibility for workforce technologies.
• We have a bachelors or masters degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• We hold an active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
• We have experience managing third-party vendor selection and carrying out complex incident containment strategies.
• We hold an active Secret clearance and can obtain TS/SCI.
• We can remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• We can occasionally move around the office to access file cabinets and office equipment.
• We can communicate frequently with co-workers, management, and customers and exchange accurate information.

• We serve as the primary Point of Contact for the DoD directorate and support communication between Government and Contractor leadership.
• We provide oversight of contractor personnel and manage contractor and subcontractor activities to meet program requirements.
• We implement and sustain compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC to maintain security compliance.
• We conduct and oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and security audits to identify threats and verify control effectiveness.
• We coordinate work across project teams and manage dependencies to avoid resource conflicts and maintain efficiency.
• We lead crisis response during major breaches, supporting detection, containment, and recovery.
• We oversee the selection and management of third-party security vendors.
• We drive organization-wide cybersecurity awareness, education, and training efforts.
• We support the Government with financial, business, IT budgeting, and investment management activities tied to contract execution.
